Hi.

This is my website. My honest-to-goodess, hand-forged, from scratch, home baked, all by myself website. My html guru is a book: Head First HTML with CSS and XHTML. Here is what it looks like:

I started on June 19, 2010 and by the end of the day I had built six tiny websites. Some were just one page, a couple were two pages. I'm not kidding when I say tiny! It was also a day where I didn't shower until 6pm and ate cereal for dinner but that's not important.

I'm gonna bust out an ordered list right here, yo, and show you the sites I made in the order they were made. Some I did on my own and some were exercises in the book. I'll let you guess which is which. It shouldn't be hard. I'll keep adding as I learn and let's hope come the end of this book we're both impressed.

  1. Clover is Fluffy
  2. Starbuzz Coffee
  3. Head First Lounge
  4. Crazy Dude on a Segway
  5. Mark's Home on the Internet (and perhaps why he is cranky!)
  6. It's this homepage! This right here!
  7. Jenny Holzer Truism
  8. myPod
  9. Wherein I update Head First Lounge a whole bunch
  10. Mannahatta by Walt Whitman
  11. Back to the Segway Guy
  12. A photo of the poet in No. 10
  13. Time for more coffee, yes?
  14. My cooking blog Whisk Flip Stir. (I has a pride about this one.)
  15. OMG. More Segway Guy. Make it stop. Please. Srsly. Please.
  16. And lastly, Starbuzz gets a bean machine.

More to come!

xoxo,
Heather
